🍸 COCKTAIL VERSION
Ingredients (serves 1)
•5 drops Brewch Yuzu
•3 oz Prosecco (extra dry or brut)
•1 oz St-Germain elderflower liqueur
•1 oz club soda
•6–8 fresh mint leaves
•Ice · Lime wheel + mint sprig to garnish
🥤 MOCKTAIL VERSION (Zero-Proof)
•Replace Prosecco → non-alcoholic sparkling wine (Surely, Leitz, or Töst)
•Replace St-Germain → 1 oz elderflower cordial or 3 drops Brewch Elderflower
•Keep: 5 drops Brewch Yuzu, club soda, mint, ice, lime garnish
Mixing Method
- Add mint leaves to a large wine glass. Gently press with a bar spoon to release oils — don't over-muddle or they turn bitter.
- Fill glass with large ice cubes. Add St-Germain and Brewch Yuzu drops.
- Pour Prosecco slowly down the inside of the glass to preserve carbonation.
- Top with club soda. One gentle stir.
- Garnish with lime wheel and a slapped mint sprig.
Why It Works
The Hugo Spritz became 2025's defining cocktail by replacing Aperol's bitterness with elderflower's floral sweetness. Brewch Yuzu adds Japan's prized three-citrus profile (grapefruit + lemon + lime) — giving the drink an aromatic complexity that the classic elderflower-only version simply doesn't have.
💡 Pro Tip
For a batch version (serves 8): scale up all ingredients 8x in a large pitcher, add ice just before serving, and float the Prosecco/sparkling wine last.
